Canada’s State-Sanctioned Euthanasia Accounted For Over 4% Of All Deaths In 2022

Canada legalized euthanasia under its medical assistance in dying (MAID) program in 2016, and by 2021, it accounted for 3% of the deaths in that country, or 10,000 people. Euthanasia accounted for 4% of all deaths in Canada in 2022, a total of 13,241 people who died from the MAID program last year, marking a 31% rise on the previous year. Federal guidelines stipulate that clients must have a grievous and irremediable medical condition, make a voluntary request for medical assistance in dying that is not the result of outside pressure or influence, and give informed consent to receive medical assistance in dying. However, the program was accused of driving citizens into assisted suicide on the grounds of poverty or lack of healthcare. Next March, the program will again be expanded further to include anyone whose sole underlying issue is a mental illness.

Euthanasia responsible for 4.1% of all Canadian deaths in 2022

Last year 4.1% of all deaths in Canada were due to MAiD (medical assistance in dying), according to the country’s health ministry. This amounts to a total of 13,241 people who died under Canada’s MAiD program in 2022, marking a 31% rise on the previous year.

These findings provide succor to claims made by MAiD critics that the program has become too permissive. Federal guidelines stipulate that clients must have a grievous and irremediable medical condition, make a voluntary request for medical assistance in dying that is not the result of outside pressure or influence, and give informed consent to receive medical assistance in dying.

But towards the end of last year, the program was criticized for allegedly driving citizens into assisted suicide on the grounds of poverty or lack of healthcare. Stories included two separate cases of cash-strapped women suffering from chronic health conditions who successfully applied to end their lives. Elsewhere, four Canadian military veterans were allegedly “pressured” to opt for medically-assisted death by a now-suspended Veterans Affairs Canada caseworker.

Health Canada’s fourth annual report on MAiD shows a staggering rise in deaths. Since the program was launched in 2016, there has been a thirteen fold increase. The most cited underlying medical conditions for choosing MAiD included cancer (63%) as well as various respiratory, cardiovascular and neurological conditions. But in 463 MAiD cases, the person’s natural death was not reasonably foreseeable, up from 221 individuals in 2021.

There was also a 27% rise in the number of written requests for MAiD in 2022 (16,104) since 2021, 560 of which were deemed ineligible. The most commonly cited sources of suffering by people requesting MAiD were the loss of ability to engage in meaningful activities (86.3%), followed by loss of ability to perform activities of daily living (81.9%) and inadequate control of pain, or concern about controlling pain (59.2%).

Canada legalized euthanasia in 2016, but the remit of MAiD has expanded in recent years. In 2021, the Canadian parliament passed Bill C-7, a law which repealed a requirement that only those suffering from a terminal illness whose natural death was “reasonably foreseeable” could request euthanasia. Next March, the program will again be expanded further to include anyone whose sole underlying issue is a mental illness.

Forty thousand dollars per every hundred babies injected with deadly poisons.

For many years doctors have received bonuses for adherence to the latest drug therapy protocol. Drugs that are known to be dangerous such as statins and anti-depressants. And now we know that insurance companies are paying doctors to fully vaccinate your children.

This incentive program for vaccinating babies can be found in the Blue Cross Blue Shield doctor incentives booklet. And specifies that every patient under the age of two that receives the currently prescribed twenty-four inoculations is worth a four-hundred dollar payout to that doctor.

For further motivation, they get paid by the hundred and they have to vaccinate a certain percentage of their total patients or they don’t get anything. Blue Cross Blue Shield rules say that a doctor needs to vaccinate sixty-three percent of their patients in order to qualify.

The average American pediatrician has about fifteen hundred patients and would have to have nine hundred and forty-five of them fully vaccinated in order to get paid. At forty-thousand for every hundred this works out to three-hundred and sixty thousand dollars.

This is why most pediatricians won’t provide care for families who don’t completely submit to the latest childhood vaccine schedule protocol. We are talking over a quarter million dollars which is more than the average pediatrician’s yearly salary.

Research shows that an unvaccinated child’s risk of death increases by over five thousand percent when they receive the current vaccine schedule.

And Doctors are now beginning to use virtual reality to help them administer these poisons to children who instinctively know better.
