US Air Force Member Set Himself on Fire to Protest Israel’s Genocidal War in Gaza

Brave, Humanitarian Aaron Bushnell, a 25-year old active-duty member of the U.S. Air Force, sacrificed his own precious life, set himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC on Sunday in protest to Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza.  Before he set himself ablaze, Bushnell told a friend that he had access to secret knowledge of U.S. military troops fighting in Hamas tunnels under Gaza and participating in the mass murder of innocent children, women and men.  We, must not forget Aaron Bushnell.!

Few seconds before his brave attempt, Bushnell recorded, saying: “I am an active duty member of the United States Air Force, and I will no longer be complicit in genocide. I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest. But, compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all. This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal.”  He then set himself on fire, shouting: “Free Palestine.”

In a separate incident on December 1, 2023, an unidentified person was reported to have self-immolated at the Israeli consulate in Atlanta, Georgia. The individual later died from the injuries. This protest was also against Israel’s war on Gaza. It is unknown why authorities refused release the protester’s name, age or gender.
