Declaration of Independence - Democracy Cooperative
- By Bahram Maskanian
All throughout the course of human history, it has become clear that: “POWER CORRUPTS, AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY”.
In the course of human civilizations, beginning 12,000 years ago, under the flourishing and unprecedented matriarchal era, lasting over 8,000 years, up to 4,000 years ago, before the invention of the barbaric manmade mythical religions, people who preferred to live a dignified and enlightening life, governed themselves utilizing the unparalleled principles of reason, common sense, ethical standards and decentralized, democratic and cooperative local governing systems and laws.
Under the matriarchal rule people held the following truths to be self-evident, that all women and men are created equal, endowed by Mother Nature with certain unalienable Rights, among which are: “LIFE, LIBERTY, JUSTICE AND PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS”.
To secure these rights, local Democratic, Cooperative Governments shall be instituted among people, deriving their just powers from the consent of the local community. And whenever any form of Government becomes abusive and destructive of these ends, it is the absolute right of the people to alter, or to abolish it, and institute a new Democratic, Cooperative Government in its place, laying its foundation on “LIFE, LIBERTY, JUSTICE AND PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS”, and organize its powers to secure local people’s Safety and Liberty.
Democracy Cooperative indeed dictates that there shall be no ruling masters of any kind and no ruled slaves. We, the people do not need ruling masters to manipulate our lives and enslave us, the public.
The undeniable history of many brutal and criminal Kings and Presidents, the ruling masters in the course of human history and their repeated absolute tyrannical and destructive behavior should leave no doubt in any one’s mind that even the best centralized, unambiguous and airtight constitution will soon be ignored, misinterpreted, or amended and transformed into an instrument of oppression and tyranny.
